In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of furniture products. Some of the key responsibilities would be:

Receiving and unloading the furniture from delivery trucks and verify the accuracy of shipment contents
Safely and efficiently store furniture in designated areas, ensuring optimal use of space and maintaining an organized warehouse
Pick, pack, and prepare furniture items for shipment according to customer orders
Conduct regular inventory checks, update records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and report any discrepancies
Inspect furniture for any damage or defects and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipping
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
Effective communication skills to work well with team members and supervisors
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
